Dance Show

Come enjoy an afternoon of Caribbean dance at the Little Carib Theatre, known as “the mecca of West Indian folk dance”. This Mother’s Day the Continuum Dance Project, led by one of T&T’s dance pioneers, Ms Sonja Dumas is putting on “The Museum of Difficult Women”. This 50-minute theatrical work presents a collage of ideas of contemporary Caribbean womanhood – particularly those women who have chosen the less traditional paths in life. Spend your afternoon captivated by a series of moments; enjoying our culture at this historical landmark.

City Tour

Welcome to Trinidad and Tobago! Welcome to Port of Spain! It’s our Welcome Tour that shows our capital’s rich cultural heritage and vibrant local life. This tour mixes the old with the new, the open, natural spaces with modern, tall buildings. It’s an oxymoron that explains the sweet complication that is Trinidad and Tobago.  Come join this city tour while experiencing the modern skyline of town life, while still embracing easy island life at its finest. A true reflection of the richness of this party island sustained by black gold. Discover the best of Port of Spain!

Home of the Steelpan

Welcome to the land of calypso….and STEELPAN! We take you to see the process of turning an oil drum into the only major musical instrument to be invented in the 20th century! Learn about the history and evolution of the steelpan. Meet the skilled artisans as they take you through the various stages of crafting these iconic musical instruments. Get a musical lesson on learning a basic song on T&T’s national instrument.

Art is Life!

Discover the vibrant and diverse local art scene in the city as we visit some of the best galleries and exhibitions in the capital city. Learn more about T&T through our vibrant art and cultural displays. Get ready for vibrancy, creativity and inspiration, and even meet a local artist, on this experience.

Walk Tall – The Moko Experience

Have the unique opportunity of becoming a Moko Jumbie for the day. Immerse yourself in the history and rich culture, as you learn the art of stilt walking from our experts. Fitted with your very own pair of stilts, and given a lesson in the basics of stilt walking with the help of our experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to balance, walk, and even dance on stilts! This is a truly unique and exhilarating experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for this incredible art form.

Pan is WE! Come learn a quick song on our national instrument and turn your lunchtime break into a jam session!

Bar Hopping

Our bars are a true definition of our culture. From “hole in de walls” to some modern spots, we take you bar hopping in the capital!

Kite Making

Learn a tradition of making kites by hand! Bring out your inner child, as we recycle material to send them up into the sky.
